A multiple award-winning journalist, Mike specialises in technical writing in the arable sector. His passion lies in writing about the future of arable farming with a particular interest in sustainable production and the role of new agtech innovations in making farmers more productive and profitable.
Since 2020, he has twice won the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists award for Arable journalism (2020 & 2023), while being runner-up in the Environment & Rural Affairs category in 2022. Mike also won the International Federation of Agricultural Journalist’s Star Prize for Print Journalism in 2013,
